New Years Resolutions
Happy New Year!
I hope you’re all staying safe and enjoying the holidays. 2022 kicked off yesterday, and in the theme of a new year, I thought I’d participate in the annual tradition of making (and hopefully keeping) new year's resolutions. With that in mind, here are some of our resolutions for the new year.
Gabe: I have a few resolutions I’m going to try and hold myself to. The first is a task I try to accomplish every year: reading more books than the year before. I read through a modest 40 books in 2021, so 50 will be the goal for 2022. The second one is going to be more difficult with universities in B.C. preparing for online learning this term. I want to participate more in my class discussions. I started to do more last term and it made the experience a lot more enjoyable.
Tracey: Show people appreciation more regularly.
Juliana: Drink more water!
Jen: Practice using the word ‘no’ as a complete sentence. Join the slow food movement. Read one personal development or finance book a month.
Those are just a few of our resolutions, but we’d love to hear what yours are! I hope the new year brings a renewed outlook and we come in to 2022 ready to kick some butt!
