We're still riding high from our last pizza party, Big Night for Pizza Lovers! We wanted to make sure we shared Tracey's thoughts about the event and include some pictures of all the fun we had! We'll be announcing our next event soon, so make sure to stay tuned...
I am so pleased to announce that our Big Night for Pizza Lovers was a huge success! The atmosphere at il Secondo is transformed at night, with the warm glow of candles, smooth jazzy music and people having a wonderful time chatting, laughing, and eating our tasty food.
For me, seeing our space on Broadway full of people enjoying themselves is very special. It gives me joy to create a fun vibe, put on a fun outfit, interact with people, serve food and drink, and make pizza!
The collaboration component is also fun for me. Working with friends in the industry creates a sense of connection and creation. Thanks to the Cheese List for helping us represent 33rd Street shops! Kathryn and Bret are such lovely and passionate people and it was such a pleasure to have them join us. Check out their shop; it is wonderful!
Working with family is also very special to me. Working alongside my husband, my brother and his wife, my cousin Lisa and her partner Al bring a family feel to this very special night.
The feedback I have received is that the Big Night is something new and different. It is a chance to get dressed up and have a lovely night on the town in a familiar yet transformed space. People are excited and anticipating the next event. I am just as excited about the next couple events we are cooking up, so make sure to keep an eye out, we'll be releasing details soon!
