What to Do With Your Halloween Pumpkins

We’re a week into October and in the heart of pumpkin season. That means the sidewalks are decorated with leaves, scarves are wrapped around our necks and, unfortunately, pumpkin spice lattes. With that in mind I thought I’d list some ways to make the most out of fall’s big, orange fruit. And yes, I did have to use google to confirm that pumpkins are fruits.
Jack O’ Lanterns
Of course I’m starting this list off with one of halloween’s most iconic images. This is a great activity for the family and, thanks to the internet, any design you can think of is just a click away!
Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin Soup
Who doesn’t love soup in the fall? When the air starts to bite at your nose a nice bowl of warm soup is there to make the day better. Pumpkin soup is a creamy and delicious treat, but best of all it’s easy to make!
Pumpkin Pie
We’re ending the list with desert! I don’t think anything represents the fall season quite like a pumpkin pie, other than the dreaded PSL. We made some pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and if you weren’t able to snag one, now’s the time to try making one at home!
